Motion Detection Security Camera Light Bulb

Updates on the review after contacting the customer service:
- Finally made the flood light working.
- Both the "IR Night Vision" and "Lighting Warn" need to be Enabled in order to make the flood light motion activated.
Now the camera works as advertised and expected. Updated the rating to 4 stars. There is huge room to improve on documentation.

Bought it to set up outside the garage door. Easy to install by replacing the light bulb in the wall lantern. Had the camera for one week now and have mixed feelings. Love the concept of E27 power connector and the flood light, but the flood lights do not turn on after so many tries. Hope the user manual give detailed instructions on setup. Video and picture quality are decent, but video playback is not friendly. The playback always starts from the first one of the day and is difficult to navigate through others.

I set it up at a test location and it was pretty easy. Works pretty good. When I went to set it up again in a permanent location, I had difficulty setting it up. After some head scratching I realized that I needed to broadcast my SSID from my router. I normally have it turned off. I also discovered that I need to keep broadcasting my SSID even after setting it up. (SSID is the name of your wireless network for those who don't know). But other then that it works fine. Maybe they will allow for hidden networks in the future.

I also noticed that in the video it shows the camera being screwed into an outside light socket. The instruction manual says that you cannot get the camera wet. So keep it in mind if you intend to use it outside where water/moisture can get to it.

I bought this camera to put in my carport. The picture is awesome. So awesome that I bought another to put on my front porch. I had no trouble setting them up. It was easy to do in the dining room light. After setting up, moved the cameras to their permanent spots. They turned on right away!

This camera works great i like that it’s wireless and I don’t need to run wires through the attic. The picture is very clear even at night. I like that I can maneuver it from my phone.

I received this product on December 14 and installed it on December 15. The bulb comes with a wall/ceiling mount that you can use if necessary. So that was a nice surprise even though I did not need it. There is a nice quality booklet with instructions on how to install the light camera which essentially amounts to screwing it on to the light socket and setting up the app and Wi-Fi connection. My only delay was setting up the Wi-Fi connection because I could not remember the password :). I am very pleased with its performance so far and will update this review if needed down the line.
